The Name Will Be...Robert Irvine's Public House At Tropicana Las Vegas
Thursday evening, Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine surprised audience members at 'Robert Irvine LIVE' by revealing the name and concept of his newest Las Vegas restaurant Robert Irvine's Public House coming summer 2017 to Tropicana Las Vegas. Irvine's first foray into the Las Vegas culinary landscape will feature a one-of-a-kind food and entertainment experience. The all-new restaurant will offer a range of comfort food options inspired by Irvine's culinary travels from around the world - all in a pub-like atmosphere.
"Robert Irvine's Public House is all about the people! The all-new restaurant will be the perfect entertainment venue for locals and tourists alike featuring a pub environment, where guest are invited to congregate and enjoy great food and drinks," said Irvine. "Once you see the restaurant space, you will be wowed. I am really excited to be a part of the culinary landscape here in Las Vegas, and am honored to partner with Tropicana Las Vegas and Penn National Gaming."
'Robert Irvine LIVE' was a high-energy, multimedia, and multi-sensory theatrical experience inside The Tropicana Theater. Much like Irvine's hit television shows Dinner: Impossible and Restaurant: Impossible, the former British Navy cook walked into theater with no knowledge of what he was about to face. From cheek retractors to handcuffs, Irvine faced three cooking challenges brought on by the audience during the 120-minute live interactive show. Over 20 audience members were called to the stage to help, ambush and compete against the celebrity chef. In the end, Irvine successful made the impossible possible with three delectable dishes in a turnaround time of only 15 minutes each. In addition, Irvine also paid tribute to the men and women that serve the country. Over 100 military were graciously invited, courtesy of Irvine and Tropicana Las Vegas.
"Chef Robert Irvine is truly one-of-a-kind and we are thrilled to welcome Irvine into the Tropicana Las Vegas family," said Aaron Rosenthal, general manager of Tropicana Las Vegas. "With much anticipation, we are pleased to announce Tropicana Las Vegas' newest restaurant addition, Robert Irvine's Public House. This has been a very exciting chapter for the property, and we're excited to continue to create a premier destination in Las Vegas for our guests and beyond."
That afternoon Robert Irvine also visited Three Square Food Bank. There, he toured the facility with Chief Development Officer Michelle Beck and learned about Three Square's programs and helped to put meals together with other local volunteers.
In May of 2016, the Food Network chef announced that he would be teaming up with Tropicana Las Vegas to open his first restaurant concept on the Las Vegas Strip. By way of introduction, Irvine repelled 22 stories (220 feet) down the exterior of the hotel, greeting guests in true Robert Irvine-fashion.
