The World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling, presented by Boyd Gaming will return to the Orleans Arena on Jan. 11-15, bringing with it talented curling teams from around the world.
Men’s and women’s teams from Canada and the United States will join forces for Team North America as they attempt to defeat Team World, led by some of the best curlers from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland and Japan.
Team North America will defend last year’s championship, which came down to the final shot, as they narrowly defeated their international counterparts, 30.5 – 29.5 in 2016. This year’s competition offers a variety of curling disciplines over a four-day period, including the team competition, mixed doubles, skins games and more. With 11 draws in total, the WFG Continental Cup of Curling will showcase the sport’s best competitors as they take to the ice in Las Vegas.
Ticket packages are available starting at $20 plus taxes and fees, and can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000, online at www.orleansarena.com, or in-person at gift shops inside The Orleans, Suncoast, Gold Coast and Sam’s Town. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event (depending upon availability) at the venue box office.
