Guests are invited to partake in a night of sophisticated revelry at Franklin Lounge during Delano Las Vegas’ Repeal Day celebration. On December 5, 1933, under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s governance, the 21st amendment was fully ratified therefore repealing all Federal laws enforcing prohibition. Nearly 83 years later, guests are invited to indulge in their constitutional right to a celebratory drink.
Guests may enter the exclusive secret library speakeasy with their best 1930s attire or by mentioning President Roosevelt’s dog’s name “Fala” to the doorkeeper; complimentary drinks will be available while supplies last.
Discounted prohibition-era themed libations and live musical entertainment also will be available in the lounge all night. The event is open to the public and no reservations are required.
