Cody Miller |
On the heels of an explosive 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Olympic medalist and Las Vegas local Cody Miller spent a night out at the world-famous “O” by Cirque du Soleil®, where he was joined by his mother and fiancĂ©e for an evening of relaxation, wonder and bliss. Celebrated as one of the world’s top breaststroke and IM specialists, Miller immediately jumped at the opportunity to see the show, having not seen it since he was just a young boy. Following the performance, he went backstage to congratulate the cast—an all-star team comprised of the world’s greatest swimmers, divers and acrobats including eight Olympic athletes—for their incredible display of finesse and beauty. Thrilled to be in their presence, the young star happily took photos with his fellow Olympians.

Water Polo Team Competes With O Cast Members |
Also in attendance were six members from the women’s water polo team that won Gold at this year’s Games. The ladies experienced “O” for the first time in 2012, enjoying a friendly water polo match against the show’s world-class artists in addition to watching the aquatic masterpiece. Following the performance, they brimmed with excitement as they reconnected backstage.
Currently home to eight Olympians, “O” by Cirque du Soleil was asked to perform at the Olympic Trials in Omaha before this year’s Olympic Games.
