Join The Fun! Rio Summer Kicks Off With Brazilian Dancers At The Palazzo
Lagasse's Stadium at The Palazzo Las Vegas will celebrate the kick-off of this summer's most anticipated sporting event, Rio Summer with an authentic Brazilian dance just before opening ceremonies.
The dancers along with two drummers will begin outside at The Venetian's Doge Palace, winding their way to The Palazzo lobby and finishing at Lagasse's Stadium, in time for the televised opening ceremonies, which will be shown on the 9 foot by 16 foot big screen.
Oya Brazil Samba Show created by Daniela Brazil features 3 Brazilian dancers performing Samba in elaborate colorful costumes. The Samba music rhythm has been danced in Brazil since its inception in the late 16th century and is considered the dance of celebration. Samba is recognized around the world as a symbol of Brazil and considered one of the most popular Brazilian cultural expressions and has become an icon of Brazilian national identity.
Guests can also experience a special Rio Summer food and beverage menu featuring various international-inspired favoritesFrom Brazil to Portugal, Germany to Mexico and more, Aug 5 - 21.
