Last year saw Ling Ling arrive in Mykonos for a sensational Summer on the illustrious Greek island. The new dining concept from Hakkasan quickly became a hot spot, attracting an international crowd of discerning revelers. Located at the centre of the old town, Ling Ling Mykonos has re-opened for its second season with its open-air restaurant, bar and rooftop private dining room. A second Ling Ling will open in Marrakech this Autumn. Taking up residence at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, the restaurant will overlook the picturesque olive groves and serene ponds at the centre of the resort with an outdoor terrace, lounge and bar.
In honour of the upcoming opening of Ling Ling Marrakech, Hakkasan Las Vegas will feature the cocktail trio using authentic flavours taken from London, Mykonos and Marrakech. The three cocktails have each been paired with one piece of signature Hakkasan dim sum, the Venison puff, Duck roll and Sesame prawn toast. The first cocktail, the Bitter Fortune, is one of the original cocktails available at the first Ling Ling in Hakkasan Hanway Place in London, which forms the base of the following two cocktails. Bitter Fortune features Tanqueray No. Ten, Aperol, rhubarb liqueur, pink grapefruit, lime and peach bitters. The second cocktail, the Golden Mare, transforms the Bitter Fortune using Mediterranean herbs, rosemary and basil, to echo Ling Ling Mykonos. While the third, Chilli Coupette, is inspired by the fragrant spices of Morocco such as cardamom and chilli to evoke a sense of Marrakech.
The ‘Evolution of Ling Ling’ cocktail flight is available from 27th June through 31st August at the bar at Hakkasan Las Vegas and priced at $30 for three cocktails and three dim sum.
