Embark on an underwater voyage this summer at Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. Ancient ruins and a sunken ship will welcome those who dare to explore an oceanic oasis, now through September 10.
The expedition begins in the East Garden as guests make their way through an aquatic enclosure featuring two arching 20-foot salt water aquariums designed by the renowned team at Acrylic Tank Manufacturing. Guests will feel submerged in an underwater world as they travel alongside coral reefs and schools of fish, through the tunnel, and into the Conservatory.
While engulfed in the deep sea, a 35-foot sunken shipwreck, resting atop vibrant coral reef, awaits in the West Garden. Remnants of an ancient ruin wall and sea animals exploring an undersea tropical waterfall continue each adventure seekers’ journey deeper into the sea. Scuba divers swimming among the wreckage, a stunning mermaid made of sand and fresh cut carnations and a 14-foot long whale spouting water, made of 1,000 succulents, will delight passersby both day and night. Representative of the ocean’s surface, dangling jellyfish and schools of fish entwined in kelp are suspended high above the saltwater themed gardens.
Bellagio’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is complementary to the public.
