List Of Annual Concert Dates For Las Vegas Philharmonic
The Las Vegas Philharmonic will announce concert dates and programming for its upcoming 2016 – 2017 concert season on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center. All ticket-holders for the evening’s scheduled performance Gershwin: Music of the Jazz Age are welcome to arrive early and attend the new season announcement at 6:00 p.m. Music Director Donato Cabrera, President Jeri Crawford, and special musical guests will discuss the music and concert dates in the upcoming season with corresponding artwork displayed on a large screen on stage. New season brochures featuring the upcoming concerts and subscription pricing will be available at the event. Las Vegas Philharmonic staff will be available in the lobby to start taking subscription orders.
Tickets for the Gershwin: Music of the Jazz Age are still available, start at $26 and can be purchased through The Smith Center Box Office, phone 702.749.2000 or online at www.lvphil.org.
In celebration and anticipation of the new season, Nevada Public Radio has partnered with the Las Vegas Philharmonic to broadcast performances from its current 2015-16 season on Classical 89.7 FM, KCNV, Sundays at 2pm and Mondays at 9pm starting April 24. Each broadcast will be 90 minutes to two hours in length. Music Director, Donato Cabrera will provide context and insights about the works during each broadcast. The programs featured on air will include the following Las Vegas Philharmonic performances:

· Jun. 5-6: Gershwin: Music of the Jazz Age (4/2-3)
· Jun. 12-13: Cabrera Conducts Tchaikovsky (5/21-22)
The Las Vegas Philharmonic, led by Music Director, Donato Cabrera, established its presence in Southern Nevada in 1998. The mission of the organization is to perform music that enriches and educates, helping to build a vibrant, culturally rich community.
