Rock N Roller Jon Fogerty Arrives At The Venetian
Yesterday Tuesday, Jan. 5, John Fogerty arrived at The Venetian® Las Vegas for his eight-show residency, Fortunate Son in Concert, opening Friday, Jan. 8. Arriving in true rock ‘n’ roll fashion, Fogerty led 50 Harley-Davidson motorcycles down the Strip to the entrance of the resort. Greeted by onlookers and fans, the legendary musician was then officially welcomed to the property by Pete Boyd, senior vice president of operations for The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo and John Nelson, senior vice president of AEG Live Las Vegas before performing an acoustic version of his classic hit “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.”
“I’m looking forward to playing some rock ‘n’ roll here in Las Vegas,” remarked Fogerty.
Produced by AEG Live, Fortunate Son in Concert will celebrate the music and culture of the 1960s, with a special focus on the year 1969. Paired with exclusive footage and personal stories, fans will enjoy performances of iconic Creedence Clearwater Revival classics as well as Fogerty’s solo hits including “Fortunate Son,” “Centerfield,” “Down on the Corner,” “Bad Moon Rising” and many more. Performances will take place Jan. 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 20, 22 and 23.
