Local celebrities walk the “blue carpet” at Goodwill signature fundraiser
Helping someone get a job is always in fashion.
Goodwill of Southern Nevada held its signature fundraiser the Blue Party, presented by CBRE, on Friday, October 2 at World Market Center. Blue Party is a night of original runway fashion, live music and art to raise money for the nonprofit.
On Friday, seven local fashion designers debuted original collections created from merchandise found in Goodwill stores. The night also included live performances from David Perrico - Pop Strings Orchestra with special guest Frankie Scinta, plus live painting and art from Jana’s RedRoom.
All proceeds raised at Blue Party benefit Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s mission of helping people in Southern Nevada find employment, no matter circumstance or disability. The ability to work creates the economic energy that builds strong families, strong communities, self-confidence, friendships and independence.
