Travis Barker's "Give the Drummer Some" At Hyde FUN & FANTASTIC
Legendary Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker returned to Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas to kick off his unprecedented residency dubbed “Give the Drummer Some.”
Before the event Barker tweeted about his performance, posting, “Hyped for Vega$ tomorrow night @HydeBellagio.” Once at the nightclub, Barker greeted and took photos with fans who waited outside of the venue for hours in anticipation of his arrival.
Later in the night, the famed rocker performed a high-powered drum DJ set, showing off his signature moves as he created an electrifying atmosphere for the packed nightclub with his one-of-a-kind set and onstage aura. Barker continued to drop heavy hip-hop beats throughout the night by artists including Skrillex, Lil Wayne and Drake while playing effortlessly along on the drums. At the end of his set, Barker tossed his drumsticks into the audience for a lucky fan as the rest of the club-goers cheered on.
Afterwards, DJ Crooked took over the turn tables, and in a swirl of confetti, champagne and club-goers, the party raged on into the early hours of the morning.
Barker will return to Hyde for the next residency performance Labor Day weekend on Sept. 5, with additional performances through 2016.
