Nicki Minaj Was Figure Unveiled At Madame Tussauds Las Vegas

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas Debuts Singer Nicki Minaj Was Figure

Yesterday, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled the world's first wax figure of multi-platinum award-winning rapper and singer Nicki Minaj. Inspired by her "Anaconda" music video, the wax figure were displayed inside Madame Tussauds Las Vegas at The Venetian.

The Nicki Minaj wax figure took nearly six months and more than 20 artists to create. Minaj’s figure was based on more than 300 body measurements, and was first sculpted in clay by hand and then covered in a plaster cast. The finishing touches included applying acrylic eyes and teeth, hair and several layers of paints and tints. Minaj was positioned into her provocative pose made famous by her "Anaconda" music video, which has nearly 500 million views on YouTube. Minaj’s figure is set among a jungle backdrop, back-up dancers and special effects-- all based on the popular video.
Minaj’s figure will be permanently installed into the attraction's Music Room.

To purchase tickets to be the first to see Minaj and Madame Tussauds' collection of more than 100 figures, including the new Hangover Experience, go to www.MadameTussauds.com/LasVegas.
