Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is literally an oasis in the Mojave Desert, with six springs that pour out hundreds of gallons of water per minute. This July and August we’re putting that water to work to help parched Las Vegans like you and your family cool off!
“Water on the Meadow” is a conservation-minded water-slide event. Our staff will roll out a fifty-foot slip ‘n slide on our lush picnic meadow and turn on our sprinklers for you and your family. Nevada State Park rangers will also offer an interactive program about water conservation in Las Vegas both past and present.
Please wear a swimsuit and bring a towel. Donations of "no-tears" baby shampoo to help the slip & slide really go fast are appreciated!
There is no cost to participate in this event. Entry to Spring Mountain State Park is $7.00 per vehicle for those with Nevada driver’s licenses, and $9.00 per vehicle for all others. Please be prepared to pay in cash with exact change.
