Ruth’s
Chris Steak House at Harrah’s Las Vegas celebrates 50 years with the Founder’s
Favorites Dinner on Thursday, June 11. The five-course dinner features founder
Ruth Fertel’s favorite iconic dishes expertly paired with a variety of
California wines and New Orleans style cocktails. This is the third event in
the 50th Anniversary Wine Dinner Series.
The
featured menu is as follows:
· Appetizer – New Orleans shrimp and
grits
o Paired with: Old Fashioned made with
award-winning Casa Noble Anejo.
· Salad – Fresh mozzarella and Kumato
tomato salad
o Paired with: Franciscan Estate, Cuvee
Sauvage Chardonnay, Carneros, Napa Valley
· Soup – Ruth’s original French Onion
soup with a savory aged Swiss and herb pastry
o Paired with: Tom Gore Vineyards, Field
Blend, Alexander Valley
· Entrée – 12 oz. USDA Prime New York
Strip served sizzling and accompanied by potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach
o Paired with: Robert Mondavi Winery, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Napa Valley
· Dessert – Classic Crème Brulee

d’Oro, Napa Valley
The
celebratory five-course dinner begins at 8 p.m. on June 11 and is priced at
