Chef
Megan Romano of Chocolate & Spice launches her summer series of hands-on
classes for kids, inviting young chefs to participate in a variety of cooking
courses. Each $25 per person class will run one hour with additional time to
enjoy creations. Participants have the opportunity to purchase two classes at
once for $45.
On
Wednesday, June 10th children will learn how to make fresh pasta and finish
with seasonal garden vegetables. The young chefs will then create their own
specialized entrée to enjoy.
Wednesday,
June 24th to cool down in the hot desert they will be learning to make ice
cream. After, the young chefs will create and enjoy their own sundaes.
Favorite
snacks are on the menu as Chef Romano instructs how to make mini chicken pot
pies, mini meatballs and mini mac n cheese on Wednesday, July 8th.
Finishing
the series on Wednesday, July 22nd participants will create seasonal sorbets to
end the summer on a cool note.
All
classes begin at 3 p.m. Parents must be present for the duration of the
session. Walk-ins are welcome but spots fill up quickly so reservations are
