The Venetian & The Palazzo Celebrate Earth Day In A Special Way

It’s time to celebrate our planet. Sands Eco360, The Venetian® and The Palazzo® Las Vegas are combining two days of dedicated care for the environment by honoring Earth Day and Arbor Day on Friday April 24 at 10 a.m. with a tree planting ceremony.

The Venetian and The Palazzo team members will be presented with their own trees to plant at their homes and care for. This ceremony will not only positively impact the environment of the properties, but also throughout the Las Vegas Valley by way of the homes of the many participating team members.

Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. The day was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated by the global Earth Day network, with over 192 countries in participation.
Arbor Day is a day dedicated annually to public tree planting in the United States, Australia and a few select additional countries.

The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas are dedicated to a sustainability strategy designed to help minimize environmental impact. The Sands Eco360 Green Meetings program allows clients to customize events to promote sustainability.
