This
weekend, on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, April 26,
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dress for Success Southern Nevada will hold its
semi-annual, two-day “Shop for Success” excess inventory sale at the
Opportunity Village Thrift Store. At the sale, shoppers will have the
opportunity to buy new and nearly new professional attire and accessories at
significantly reduced prices.
Savvy
shoppers will enjoy reduced prices on professional clothes for women at the
sale, such as sweaters for only:
$4,
pants and skirts for $6, and suits for $20, as well as accessories like purses,
scarves and jewelry. Cash or credit will be accepted. On Sunday, shoppers can
buy a shopping bag for $25 and fill it with as many items as it will fit. And
new to the April sale, two special tents will be dedicated to just teen and
high-end designer clothes.
Dress
for Success Southern Nevada holds Shop for Success sale events twice a year to
reduce its inventory and make room at its boutique for new clothing donations.
Proceeds
of Shop for Success will benefit Dress for Success Southern Nevada and its
efforts to provide professional
clothing, career assistance and a network of support to disadvantaged women.
Taken together, Dress for Success Southern Nevada’s programs have served over
2,000 women since the inception of the affiliate.
“Shop for Success,” an excess inventory

buy professional apparel and accessories at greatly reduced prices.
