NASCAR Sprint Cup Hauler Parade – March 5

Kicking off NASCAR weekend in Las Vegas, South Point Hotel hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Parade as haulers depart from the hotel and make their way up Las Vegas Boulevard to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Thursday, March 5 at 5 p.m. Fans and guests will get the first look at the racing gear in preparation for one of Las Vegas’ most thrilling events. The haulers parade is free and open to the public.

Richard Childress NASCAR Autograph Signing – March 5

Brendan Gaughan, driver of the South Point Chevy #62 for Richard Childress Racing, and fellow NASCAR drivers Austin Dillon, Ty Dillon, Brian Scott and Paul Menard will take over South Point Hotel for a special autograph signing to jump start Las Vegas NASCAR Week on Thursday, March 5 from 8 to 9 p.m. Guests can capture the moment on camera while the famous race car drivers pose with fans. Signing is limited to the first 200 fans.

Championship Bull Riding Tuff Hedeman Vegas Shoot Out– March 7

The South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in partnership with Boot Barn and Discount Tire welcomes back Championship Bull Riding (CBR) Tuff Hedeman Vegas Shoot Out on Saturday, March 7 at 8 p.m. As the leader in bull riding, CBR provides fans, stock contractors and world class riders the ultimate bull riding experience. Fans will cheer on their favorite cowboys as they try to stay atop a bucking bull. Tickets are available and start at $20.

MINT 400 Vehicle Parade – March 11

South Point Hotel hosts the MINT 400 vehicles and racers during the official MINT 400 Vehicle Parade starting from the front of the property on Wednesday, March 11 at 3:15 p.m. Fans have the opportunity to see MINT 400 racers as they parade down the Las Vegas Strip to Fremont Street East.

Silver Dollar Circuit Quarter Horse Show & Western Gift Expo – March 17 – 22

The South Point Arena and Equestrian Center showcases some of the country’s finest quarter horses during the 39th Annual Silver Dollar Circuit Quarter Horse Show March 17 – 22. In addition to viewing premier equestrian disciplines and techniques, guests will have the opportunity to “Cowboy Up” and purchase Western apparel and accessories. Gifts include shirts, jeans, cowboy hats, boots, belts and buckles. In addition, tack, saddles, Western ranch style furniture, furs and a lot of bling will be showcased throughout the event. This event is free and open to the public.

March to the Championship Party  – March 19 – 21

The South Point Grand Ballroom will transform into “Hoops Heaven” Thursday, March 19 – Saturday, March 21 kicking off the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Thousands of basketball fanatics will have the ultimate spot in Las Vegas to watch college basketball as South Point offers on-site wagering stations and free chair massages, while viewing every game simultaneously. Throughout the tournament, guests can enjoy a variety of food and drink specials, including $16 buckets of Budweiser beers; $25 pitchers of Bloody Mary’s and Margarita’s. All viewing parties are free and open to the public. All guests must be 21 or older.

National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) Presents Stallion Stakes & Western Gift Show – March 29 – April 4

The National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) “Stallion Stakes” event returns to South Point Arena and Equestrian Center March 29 – April 4. Throughout the week, fans will enjoy the cultural experience of the largest working cow horse event for four and five year old horses competing in snaffle bits and hackamores. This event is free and open to the public.
