O’Sheas
BLOQ Party at The LINQ returns Tuesday, March 17 as Las Vegas’ biggest green
event with a full day of drinks, live music, parades and a free trip for two to
Ireland.
The
St. Patrick’s Day celebrations kick-off at noon with a blowout parade
throughout the LINQ Promenade complete with bagpipers, leprechauns, stilt
walkers and more. Inside O’Sheas, partygoers will be treated to live music
performances from The Garage Boys, The Hooligans and Darby O’Gill throughout
the afternoon and late into the night.
The
BLOQ party outside in the LINQ Promenade will feature giveaways, St. Patrick’s
Day gear and games of corn hole and oversized beer pong between various
surprise pop up bands, dancers and performances. Beer trucks and portable bars
from Coors Light, Miller Lite, Guinness, Leinenkugel, Heineken, and Jameson
will line the green oasis, ensuring guests never run out of foamy brews.
Parades and a drumline performance will overtake the promenade throughout the
day and the fountain stage will feature a live performance from Empire Records
as well as a silent disco.
The
High Roller brings the celebration 550 feet into the air with green beer and
Irish-themed cocktails at The Sky Lounge and in every Happy Half Hour cabin. At
dusk, the High Roller will ceremoniously be lit green as another parade full of
bagpipers, leprechauns and stilt walkers fills the promenade.
Beginning
March 6, guests who purchase a Guinness at O’Sheas can enter to win a trip to
Ireland, which includes airfare for two, hotel accommodations and a tour of the
Guinness Brewery. The winner will be drawn at 11 p.m. inside O’Sheas on March
17.
