Las
Vegas, this is it!! On March 17th, the Clark County Commissioners will be
making the decision to renew The Animal Foundation's contract OR open up the
bidding to No Kill Las Vegas (NKLV). Over the past three weeks, NKLV has been
hard at work building a stellar, highly-qualified team of professionals and
putting together a competitive proposal that is sure to impress. We are fairly
confident that if County Commissioners approve the Request For Proposal (RFP),
NKLV has a real shot of securing the shelter services contract for the county.
That being said, we can't do it without YOUR help! We need to fill every seat
of the County Commission Chambers on March 17th. Our County Commissioners need
to know this is an item our community truly cares about and your attendance
will speak volumes. For many, it may mean taking a day off from work or
rearranging personal plans, but it is a small sacrifice to make for the tens of
thousands of Clark County animals who will be able benefit from a safer, more
humane future if NKLV secures the contract. Please attend on March 17th, 9AM
sharp, at the Clark County Government Center. 500 S Grand Central Pkwy, Las
Vegas, NV
In
the meantime, please call your County Commissioner and respectfully urge them
to APPROVE the RFP (Request for Proposal) for the shelter services contract. If
you don't know who your Commissioner is, the switchboard operator will help
you. (702) 455-3500
