Whitney
Cummings took the stage in “LIPSHTICK – The Perfect Shade of Standup” at The
Venetian Las Vegas on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14. The comedian,
actress, and co-creator of the hit CBS sitcom, 2 Broke Girls, returns to the
series on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23. Tickets for upcoming
performances are now on sale.
Cummings
praised Las Vegas audiences before the show, saying that they were “such an
amalgam of so many different kinds of people from so many different states and
countries that if your material works in Vegas, that’s like the ultimate
compliment,” continuing to joke, “especially considering the fact that a lot of
the people watching probably just gambled away their life savings.”
“LIPSHTICK
– The Perfect Shade of Standup” is a resident comedy series that marks the
first time in the storied entertainment history of Las Vegas that the comedy
stage has been taken exclusively by female performers. The series brings the
most critically acclaimed comedians to the Sands Showroom.
