Commonwealth
will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with special Tuesday hours and a “Men in
Kilts” contest on Tuesday, March 17, awarding the winner a grand prize of $500
in cash for the charity of their choice.
Participating
firefighters will march from The D Hotel Casino Las Vegas to Commonwealth at
5:45 p.m. to show off their assets while donning Irish-inspired kilts, each
trying to collect the most cash donations for the charity of their choice. At
the end of the evening, cash collections will be totaled, and the firefighter
who collects the most donations will win the grand prize charity donation of
$500.
Firefighters
will be able to donate their cash winnings to the charity of their choice.
Group photos with the firemen will also be available for donations that will
benefit the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation, an organization
that provides assistance to burn victims and their families, at-risk children
and provides education and awareness of fire and life safety.
