6th Annual St. Baldrick's Head Shaving Event Takes Place Saturday 3/7/15

New York-New York Hotel & Casino hosts the 6th annual St. Baldrick’s Day head-shaving event benefiting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a national organization funding research for childhood cancer. Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun at the free event on the hotel’s Brooklyn Bridge with live music and family-friendly activities, including face painting and balloon art.

Celebrities and notable personalities confirmed to attend include:

10:00 a.m. – Event kick-off with Las Vegas Pipe Band, Miss Nevada USA, Brittany McGowan and Miss Nevada Teen USA, Geovanna Hilton

10:30 a.m. – Bonner Boys from Bonner Elementary School

11:00 a.m. – Cast members of Tournament of Kings

12:00 p.m. – Chippendales including Jaymes Vaughan, Matt Marshall and Ryan Stuart. John Katsilometes will have his head shaved by Elann Saula, a four-year-old boy who suffers from serious immune system disorders and receives treatment at a St. Baldrick’s-funded center (to sponsor Katsilometes, donations can be made here)

1:00 p.m. – Olivia Newton-John, resident headliner at the Flamingo, and cast of Million Dollar Quartet

2:00 p.m. – Cast members of FANTASY and Thunder From Down Under

3:00 p.m. – Cast members of JERSEY BOYS

4:00 p.m. – Cast members of Rock of Ages

5:00 p.m. – Cast members of Absinthe

TBD  – Carrot Top

Emcees confirmed to host the event include KLUC’s JB King, TV personality Megan Telles, Rock of Ages star Mark Shunock and local philanthropist Bryan Chan.

Live musical performances include Phoenix (2 – 5 p.m. and 8 – 10 p.m.) and Patrick Sieben (5 – 8 p.m.)
