Real Candy Centerpiece |
Have
a serious sweet tooth? If you do then you need to stop here! All
your sweet dreams and desires will be truly answered. This delightful shop if filled to the brim
with homemade one of kind sweet delicious confections. Every batch is made fresh
every day and you will find some of the most mouthwatering confection
combination's imaginable…. there’s Pure Caramel Corn, Chocolate Covered
Marshmallows, Cookies, Fudges, Creamy Brittle, Toffees, Barks, and more.
This
shop is so family oriented that in keeping with the family theme, each of the
confections is named for a family member including their pups. From Natalie's
Nut Crunchies named for her nutty nickname to Paige's Cookie Pops because she
likes things on a stick, each sweet has a bit of each personality wrapped
inside. It was also the family that supported their opening the shop. From Sister-In-Law
Eryn's photography, background fabrics from Sister Barbara and nieces and
nephews who worked hard as taste testers every item in the shop has a whimsical
story. The name Sweet Ruby Jane Confections celebrates the love and effort that
Susan and Patty Grandmother’s Ruby Jane’s love of cooking and the delectable
treats that came out of her oven.
Supporting
local businesses keep our economy growing and there could not be friendlier
down to earth owners than these two sisters Susan and Patty. Everything that I
tried in the shop was a confectioners dream!
Standouts that I tasted include:
Grandma
Katie's Coconut Bark -a Toasted coconut
layered into rich chocolate topped with more toasted coconut and drizzled with
creamy caramel.
Linda
Sue's Snickerdoodle Cookies – light and crispy but decadently chewy they are
sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
Wyatt’s
Wacky Pretzel Love - twists or our peanut butter slather pretzel rods in white,
milk or dark chocolate. These come in a
variety box of sprinkles, pink drizzle. (I LOVED the white chocolate pretzels
with the pink drizzle.)
While
the three mentioned above were standouts there is not an item in this store
that is not delicious. Plus want a different
type of night out try the Fun Night Out:
