Tom’s
Urban, a modern and casual dining concept, is now open and serving breakfast,
lunch, dinner and late night at New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Located
on the casino floor and adjacent to the resort’s iconic Brooklyn Bridge, the
venue features a contemporary dining experience offering innovative, yet
familiar dishes coupled with a creative bar program.
“We
are delighted to open our newest Tom's Urban, located at New York-New York in
Las Vegas, marking our third location in the U.S.,” said Tom Ryan, the
mastermind behind Tom’s Urban. “We are in the perfect location to appeal to all
types of consumers. Co-founder, Rick Schaden and I spent time developing an approachable,
modern casual dining experience in a fun atmosphere and we’re excited to
showcase Tom’s in the heart of the city.”
Spanning
over 12,000 square feet, Tom’s Urban has a guest capacity of more than 480
people for both indoor and outdoor seating, complete with three energetic,
full-service bars. Featuring a dynamic design, the restaurant’s high-energy
environment infused with reclaimed wood, warm colors and lively patio, makes
this the perfect setting to be your first, next and last place to meet, eat and
drink.
Tom
Ryan and his culinary team have created a spirited menu with something for
everyone. Featuring a distinctive and eclectic blend of the world’s favorite
street foods including flavors such as American, Asian, Latin, and Middle
Eastern, guests can opt to share or jump start their meal with Lowcountry
Shrimp and Grits (Cajun shrimp, crispy pork belly, creamy cheese grits);
Xiangxiang Crispy Duck Wings (hoisin glaze, Asian peanut slaw); and Filet
Mignon Steak Sliders (grilled filet mignon medallions, havarti cheese, arugula,
hollandaise sauce, fresh tarragon, butter-toasted brioche buns), to name a few.
The
savory portion of the menu continues with a wide-variety of dishes, but with
Tom’s signature twist. Highlights include the Sin City Burger (American cheese,
fried egg, crispy onions, applewood-smoked bacon, BBQ sauce); Tom’s “Big &
Sticky” Rib Back (St. Louis ribs hardwood smoked, slow cooked, double sauced
and glazed with house made BBQ sauce; served with choice of side); French Pan
Roasted Chicken (crispy 1/2 chicken, herb marinated, pan roasted and glazed
with chicken demi, served with choice of side) and much more!
A
selection of breakfast and late night items hit the spot, such as the Hangover
Slopper (Certified Angus Beef burger on a butter-toasted brioche bun, smothered
with pork green chile, queso fresco, pico de gallo, cheddar and jack and topped
with two fried eggs); Killer Chilaquiles (tri-colored tortilla chips simmered
in tomatillo salsa, topped with two farm fresh eggs any style, asadero,
cilantro crème, queso fresco, pico de gallo); and Breakfast Burritos (egg and
cheese with your choice of steak, bacon or sausage).
Paired
to elevate and complement the overall experience, guests can indulge in a great
selection of handcrafted cocktails, craft beers (including 35 plus options on
tap), fine wines and signature “to-go” drinks. Featured libations include WTF
(Jim Beamwhiskey, red wine, Brooklyn Beer, orange and blackberry liqueur); Dark
+ Stormier (Kraken Black spiced rum, Tom’s house made ginger brew); and Bacon
Bourbon Mary (bacon infused Jim Beam bourbon, house made Bloody Mary mix, cream
cheese schmear) available in various sizes including “Pint” (16 oz.), “Large”
(22 oz.) and “Tom’s” (33 oz.).
