Ready,
set, go! The Juice Standard, located at 4555 S. Ft. Apache Rd., has partnered
with the non-profit foundation, Mission I’m-Possible, to host a 10K run on
Sunday, Jan. 25.
Runners
and juicers, alike, are welcome to join the run taking place from noon to 4
p.m. at The Juice Standard, free of charge.
To
commemorate the run, The Juice Standard will unveil its new juice, Bee
I’m-Possible. The new “nutmilk” is a nutritious twist on lemon meringue,
combining raw cashews, vanilla, lemon, lavender, raw local honey and alkaline
water.
Created
by Sammy Jo Alonso, founder of the sport clothing line Fruition Las Vegas,
Mission I’m-Possible aims to break the chains of limitations through
spontaneous long distance runs to represent the idea of new possibilities in
life. Although its messages are spread through running, the foundation’s goal
is to become the advocate for change throughout culture and to be a beacon of
hope for those who are broken or lost.
