Las
Vegas welcomed Shake Shack to the Las Vegas Strip in grand fashion during the
restaurant’s housewarming party. The evening kicked off with a ribbon cutting
with Shake Shack Founder Danny Meyer who was joined by Shake Shack executives,
Commissioner Mary Beth Scow and New York-New York President Cynthia Kiser
Murphey. As guests enjoyed burgers, fries and shakes from the globally popular
brand, the Agassi College Preparatory Academy drumline paraded through the
casino as Shake Shack team members passed out swag and free custard to casino
guests. The drumline made their way over the Brooklyn Bridge (which was turned
“green” for the night in honor of the Shake Shack opening), and joined Las
Vegas-based band Rusty Maples for a special performance.
Commissioner
Scow officially named January 13th “Shake Shack Day” on The Strip and in all of
Clark County!
