The Juice Standard will help kick start New Year’s resolutions to lose weight and live healthier with the company’s signature juice cleanses. Customized for full-body nutrition, the juice cleanses are available in one day, three day and 10 day packages.
“Whether it is for weight loss, healthier skin or the health benefits of ingesting high levels of vital nutrients, anti-inflammatories and antioxidants, juicing is a fantastic way to hit the reset button and start the New Year with a better body, inside and out,” says co-owner of The Juice Standard, Marcella Melnichuk.
Priced at $60 per day, the cleanses include a variety of juices that range from light and refreshing to filling. Juices on the lighter side include Bee Whealthy, for overall health management; Bee Love to support heart health; and Bee Energized, a root based juice that helps increase energy. Juicers are given a choice between Bee Pure, an apple-sweetened lemonade rich in B-vitamins, or Bee Vibrant, a spicy lemonade containing cayenne pepper to increase energy and speed up metabolism. For sustainability, nut milks, which have a slightly higher quality calorie count, like Bee Magnificent, a blend of filtered water, raw cashew, dates, agave, Ceylon cinnamon and vanilla bean, are incorporated to provide magnesium, support heart health and are drank last each day for a heartier and more full filling before bed.
The juices included in the cleanses focus on four categories of ingredients that are designed to reset the body and boost metabolism including greens, roots, “clears” and nut milks. Greens are leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale that oxygenate the body and help release several toxins while increasing energy; roots, like carrots and beets, that have more natural sugars than other vegetables, which provide the juicer with a much needed boost of energy; “clears” are produce that only have a hint of color, which keep the body hydrated and suppress appetites; and non-dairy nut milks, which add about 250 calories per serving of bone-healthy magnesium and monounsaturated fats to keep hunger pangs at bay.
Each 12-ounce bottle of cold juice is labeled with numbers that include the day and order of the juice to simplify the process. Marcella’s partner, Jamie Stephenson, recommends drinking a full glass of water between each juice. “Hydration is key with any health regimen and helps prevent hunger pangs,” says Stephenson.
Juicers are encouraged to pre-order their cleanses a few days in advance by calling 702.476.9800.
