Rock Bar Grill, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood
Resort & Casino, is welcoming cowboys and their fans for the ten days of
National Finals Rodeo, with events like “Cowgirls and Cocktails,” mechanical
bull riding competitions hosted by Robbie Hodges with $500 in prizes each
night, Country Karaoke and $21 Coors buckets. From Dec. 4 - 13, rodeo fans will
be able to catch bareback riding, team roping, steer wrestling and more on some
of the restaurant’s 105 HDTVs and projectors, and enjoy events where they are
sure to spot their favorite cowboy competitors at PBR Rock Bar.
The
restaurant, which was also heavily involved with the Professional Bull Riding
World Finals (PBRWF) in November, is hosting a variety of events during
National Finals Week this year including mechanical bull riding competitions
all ten nights of the NFR at 10 p.m. 2010 NFR barrelman Robbie Hodges will give
out $500 worth of prizes to winners each night. He will be joined by a number
of noted co-hosts, including Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) bull
rider Wacey Barta on Dec. 4, NFR pickup man Josh Edwards on Dec. 7, competing
bullfighter Cody Webster on Dec. 8 and NFR barrelman Justin Rumford on Dec. 9.

Rock Bar is an official sponsor of the NFR, and will be hosting an exhibition
for World Champion bull Chicken on a
Chain at the NFR’s Cowboy FanFest area in the Las Vegas Convention Center from
Dec. 4 – 13. The exhibition will allow the public to get up close and personal
with the legendary bull, and PBR Rock Bar’s promotional girls will add
excitement to the experience. Chicken on a Chain’s official merchandise will be
sold at PBR Rock Bar during NFR.
The
restaurant is positioning itself as the spot to watch NFR events during the
10-day competition with viewing parties and rock-bottom drink specials. PBR
Rock Bar will be showing all NFR events on its television screens on the bar,
and the bar is serving up drink specials like $8 Jack Daniels and Jack Daniels
Honey whiskies and $5 Coors Light drafts. $21 mix and match Coors Light and
Coors Banquet Buckets will be available for cowboys on a budget.

Rock Bar will be throwing two “Cowgirls and Cocktails” parties on Dec. 4 and 11
where all ladies receive $1 Pinnacle vodka drinks all night—cowboy hats and
boots encouraged. Admission is $5. Country music takes over the restaurant and
bar on Dec. 9 at 10 p.m., when guests are can get loose at PBR Rock Bar’s
Country Karaoke night.
