Iconic
rocker Jon Anderson has postponed his performance scheduled for Saturday, Nov.
22 at Boulder Station, due to laryngitis. The performance has been rescheduled
for Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at 7 p.m. at The Railhead inside Boulder Station.
Tickets
purchased for the Nov. 22 performance will be honored for rescheduled date. If
needed, refunds will be available at the original point of purchase. Guests who
purchased tickets online or via phone will receive an email notice from
Ticketmaster.
Tickets
for the Jan. 17 date are available for $19, $25, $35 and $45 plus tax and
applicable fees and are available for purchase today. Doors open at 6 p.m. and
guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased at
any Station Casinos Reward Center and The Fiestas, by logging onto
www.sclv.com/concerts or through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or
www.ticketmaster.com.
Jon
Anderson is one of the most recognizable voices in progressive rock, as the
lead vocalist and creative force behind the legendary band Yes. With Yes,
Anderson helped produce 17 studio albums, many of which achieved gold
certification or higher, including The Yes Album, Close to the Edge and
Tormato, all of which received platinum certification. The band’s album, 90125
featured the single, “Owner of a Lonely Heart,” which reached number one on the
Billboard Hot 100 chart and achieved triple-platinum certification, the band’s
most successful album to date.
Outside
of Yes, Anderson has released a number of successful solo studio albums,
including Olias Of Sunhillow, which reached number 47 on the Billboard Pop
Albums chart, and Change We Must, which peaked at number eight on the Billboard
Top Classical Crossover chart. In 2011, Anderson released the
critically-acclaimed album Survival & Other Stories.
