Monte
Carlo Resort and Casino is giving 73 couples the unforgettable opportunity to
say “I do” and declare their love on the run during the Run-Thru Wedding
Ceremony at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ to benefit the Crohn’s
& Colitis Foundation of America.
Twenty-two
couples marrying for the first time and 51 renewing their vows will run
side-by-side to Monte Carlo’s new plaza, located on the Las Vegas Strip, where
nuptials will take place in front of friends and family. In its ninth year,
many couples from countries around the world including the UK, Canada, Germany
and Brazil will partake in the annual tradition. A milestone in Run-Thru
Wedding history, this year’s ceremony will welcome its first same-sex couples,
one of which will be renewing their vows and the other who will be marrying for
the first time.
Non-running
family members and friends are welcome to watch the ceremony officiated by Dao
Vu, host of KTNV Channel 13’s popular shows, “The Morning Blend” and “Valley
View Live!” from a designated viewing area at Monte Carlo’s plaza. After the
couples say “I do,” a Champagne toast will signal the start of a new chapter in
their lives and the couples will continue with the race in wedded bliss.
Run-Thru
Wedding participants wishing to celebrate their honeymoon at Monte Carlo, may
do so with a special package including up to 20 percent off room rates and $50
