up! The fourth annual Mesquite pancake breakfast November 8th at the
Permaculture Learning Garden located inside Vegas Roots Community Garden.
At
Breakfast in the Garden, you can enjoy hyper-local food. It features
Mesquite-flour pancakes made with beans harvested from our very own trees.
Toppings include pomegranate syrup, and honey -- all from Southern Nevada
sources!
This
is a perfect fall outing for the family, where parents and kids enjoy great
food and activities, and go home knowing something new about how to enjoy life
in the desert.
Breakfast
in the Garden is a great experience for the whole family. This annual event
highlights the underrated edibles that grow in our desert and includes arts and
crafts, music, plants for sale, garden tours, and more.
Proceeds
fund Great Basin Permaculture's efforts to inspire sustainable choices in
dryland communities through action and education. Suggested donations $15 for
