eat, drink, love at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino will celebrate Thanksgiving
with a traditional holiday feast prepared by Executive Chef Billy DeMarco on
Thursday, Nov. 27.
Priced
at $65 per person, the restaurant will offer a four-course dinner with optional
wine pairings for an additional $35. The menu will begin with Butternut Squash
Soup made with spiced brandy zabaglione and toasted pumpkin seeds, paired with
a 2013 Sauvignon Blanc from Craggy Ranch, New Zealand. The second course will
include Dried Berry Salad with candied walnuts, pomegranates, shaved goat
cheese and topped with apple cider vinegar, paired with a 2012 Chardonnay from
Napa Valley, Calif. The main course will feature a Carved Roasted Turkey
accompanied with dried fruit cornbread stuffing and sweet potato puree, paired
with a 2012 Anthill Farm, Pinot Noir from Sonoma Valley, Calif. To conclude the
meal, the restaurant will offer the Traditional Pumpkin Pie complemented by a
Blandy Sherry from Portugal.
