2nd Location For MTO Opens Just In Time For Black Friday! Now At Downtown Summerlin

The second location of MTO Café is now open in the Dining Arroyo area at Downtown Summerlin.  A favorite amongst culinary critics and foodie fans, the restaurant will serve up its hallmark comfort food featuring fresh local ingredients for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Chef Johnny Church, named 2014 Culinarian of Year by the Nevada Restaurant Association, has expanded the menu for to include dinner at the Summerlin location.  New dishes include the Queso Fundido with house-made chorizo, provolone, mozzarella, avocado, piquillo pepper with the choice of flour tortillas or vegan flatbread, the Chicken Pot Pie with baby carrots, onions, celery, leeks, chicken stock and buttermilk biscuit crust and the Truffle Meatloaf with ground veal, garlic shallots, ketchup, Dijon, hemp seeds, parsley, thyme & sweet potato gnocchi, spinach and truffle jus.  Summerlin diners will also enjoy the restaurant’s signature breakfast, brunch and lunch items such as the Kentucky Fried Chicken with eggs, mash browns and country gravy, the Bacon Dippers with peppercorn maple syrup and the Hangover Burger with bacon, fried egg, Tillamook Cheddar, lettuce and special sauce.

The Downtown Summerlin location is a walkup concept bearing MTO’s modern-yet-retro industrial feel, spanning 2,500 square-feet with three distinct dining areas, including the dining room and a community table as well as an 800 square-foot outdoor patio. As with the original café, the community table has been handcrafted by the owners using wood from the family farm in Kentucky.
