The
Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower announces the final performance of Frankie
Moreno Live at Stratosphere will be December 20, 2014 at 8 p.m. Dedicated fans,
guests and everyone who loves a great live show is invited catch the final
powerhouse performances at Stratosphere.
Moreno
wows audiences and critics alike with energetic live performances in the
Stratosphere Theater. Since November 9,
2011, Frankie has achieved nearly 600 shows during his three-year tenure as
Stratosphere headliner. Moreno will
leave the Stratosphere to pursue new artistic songwriting and performing
opportunities across the country.
“Frankie
Moreno is a true Las Vegas success story,” said Paul Hobson, Stratosphere
Casino, Hotel & Tower general manager.
“We wish him nothing but success on his future endeavors.”
Moreno’s
incredible talent earned Moreno “Best All-Around Performer” from the Las Vegas
Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards in 2012 and “Best Strip Headliner”
from Las Vegas Weekly.
As
part of his growing popularity, Moreno is also utilized by the Las Vegas
Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) to help sell the Las Vegas brand to
audiences across the country.
“The
past three years have been an incredible ride and I’m thankful to the
Stratosphere for the opportunity to entertain audiences night after night,”
said Moreno.
Moreno’s
national television appearance on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars in 2012 earned
him additional acclaim. He performed a
medley, including his original song “Tangerine Honey”, to a dance performed and
choreographed by Lacey Schwimmer during the primetime hit show.
“Frankie
and his 10-piece band put on the kind of show that made Las Vegas showrooms
famous,” said Matt Mascali, Vice President of Entertainment at Stratosphere
Casino, Hotel & Tower. “There is no
denying their talent.”
Moreno
also shares his talents with aspiring musicians. As part of a partnership with the Las Vegas
Academy, a magnet school in the Clark County School District focusing on visual
and performing arts, Moreno and his song writing brothers held songwriting
classes with students. Some of the
students ultimately performed their songs for audiences during Moreno’s shows
at the Stratosphere Theater.
