Hussong’s
Cantina, located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, is dishing up week-long
food and drink specials to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day. From September
12 to September 19, guests can enjoy Short Rib Enchiladas, topped with a creamy
poblano sauce and a creamy chile guajillo sauce, both drizzled with sour cream
and finished with queso fresco, diced bell pepper and diced poblano pepper and
served with rice and beans for $18.95. Those looking to celebrate National
Guacamole Day, also on September 16 along with Grito de Dolores, can enjoy the
restaurant’s delectable, zesty, sweet and spicy Mango-Habanero Guacamole.
From
September 12 to September 16, Corona Extra bottles will be on special for $4 as
well as $4 Corona Light draft 16 oz. pints and $20 Corona buckets. The
Baja-inspired eatery’s signature Rock n’ Roll Mariachis will be on hand
September 13, 14 and 16 to set the party
off with song requests and mash-ups of classic rock hits and Latin serenades.
