Alternative Rock Band Interpol Light Up Mophie Stage At The Blvd. Pool In Vegas

On Thursday, Aug. 21, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas welcomed alternative band Interpol to the mophie stage at Boulevard Pool as part of the “Set Your Life To Music” weekly concert series. Dapperly dressed in suits, Interpol opened their set with “Say Hello To The Angels” off their 2002 album Turn On the Bright Lights, filling Boulevard Pool with their darkly atmospheric sound. The band played a mix of fan favorites, including “Take You On A Cruise,” “Slow Hands” and “Leif Erikson.”

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. Perched high above the Las Vegas Strip, Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage and The Strip by night.

“Set Your Life To Music” returns to the Boulevard Pool on Thursday nights this summer. The highly-anticipated summer series continues with Theophilus London (Aug. 28); Las Vegas Local Band Showcase with Avalon Landing, Ekoh and Yaygos (Sept. 4); Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires (Sept. 18); Jhene Aiko with special guest The Internet (Sept. 25); HAERTS (Oct. 2) and Dum Dum Girls (Oct. 9). Each night doors will open at 8 p.m. and the show will begin at 9 p.m. Additional artists will be announced at a later date.
