Cut Copy – Fri, Aug. 8

Honda Civic Tour Featuring Grouplove & Portugal. The Man – Sat, Aug. 16 (show: 8pm, admission: $35-40)

Grouplove
After scoring success with their chart topping single "Tongue Tied" and spending over two years on the road supporting their 2011 debut Never Trust A Happy Song, Grouplove took less than a week's break before beginning work on their new album, Spreading Rumours. Spreading Rumours sees Grouplove elevating from a band of friends jangling together music and words without much direction into focused artists making a beautiful album together - standing behind one vision and a sound that is uniquely their own.
Watch their video for Tongue Tied.

Portugal. The Man
Six full-length albums in six years, nonstop touring, a stint with The Black Keys and festival stops at Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, Portugal. The Man embodies all dimensions of DIY rock range.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – Sun, Aug. 17
At a time when so much of the industry’s output has become the musical equivalent of junk mail, listening to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones is like receiving a series of postcards from a vacationing friend: handwritten, infectiously fun, wish-you-were-here inclusive, and, overall, personal. (show: 8pm, admission: $38.50-$44)

Groundation – Thu, Aug. 28
Bursting forth from their underground status, Groundation has taken the music world by storm. Capturing the essence and drive of true roots reggae, the widely renowned band takes the art form to new heights by blending elements of jazz, funk, salsa, soul and transcendental dub in a progressive amalgam of sound all their own. (show: 9pm, admission: $16.50)

DJ ?uestlove Presents: Bowltrain – Thu, Aug. 28 and Fri, Aug. 29
American music legend ?uestlove is bringing the heat back to Las Vegas, accompanied by throwback Soul Train videos! His vinyl collection contains more than 50,000 records giving him the ability to tear up the dance floor with the most eclectic sets of hip-hop, house, 80's, rare grooves and a mix of everything in between. (show: 11:59pm, admission: $11-$20)
Groove to his Boiler Room set!

The Avett Brothers – Fri, Aug. 29 – Sun, Aug. 31
Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as having the "heavy sadness of Townes Van Zandt, the light pop concision of Buddy Holly, the tuneful jangle of the Beatles, the raw energy of the Ramones," the Avett Brothers bring their artful distillation of classic homegrown folk, rock energy, bluegrass soul and pop charm to Las Vegas for 3 nights. (show: 8pm, admission: $59)

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas will begin its summer weekday hours on August 1 and will open at 5pm Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday weekend hours remain the same and will open at noon and feature a special crave-worthy weekend brunch from 12pm-4pm in addition to the restaurant menu, 32 lanes of family-friendly bowling, and live concerts.  Visit www.brooklynbowl.com for more information.
