Eight-time
Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, producer Stephen Marley kicked off the
evening getting the audience into a mellow groove and spreading positive vibes
throughout the venue. The son of reggae icon Bob Marley paid homage to his
father with covers of hit songs including “Buffalo Soldier.” Following,
Slightly Stoopid took the stage, joined by “unofficial 8th [band] member” Karl
Denson of Greyboy Allstars. The genre-bending group kept the crowd dancing with
fan-favorite songs such as “Wicked Rebel” and “Somebody.” Spotted backstage was
former Los Angeles Laker Rick Fox.
