Actress
and comedian, Melissa McCarthy, was overwhelmed with joy for the Sugar Factory
VIP baskets at her TCL Chinese Theatre handprint celebration in Los Angeles on
Wednesday, July 2.
McCarthy,
the star of the new comedy, “Tammy”, celebrated the handprint honor with a
giant assortment of candy confection, courtesy of Sugar Factory. McCarthy was
joined by her husband, actor Ben Falcone. Each received a basket, filled with
signature Sugar Factory favorites including the Rainbow Couture Pop, one pound
of gummy ducks, and a variety of chocolate bars including, dark espresso and
s’mores.
The
baskets were also filled with classic candy favorites including ring pops,
Sprees, Fun Dips, wax bottles, Dots, Zebra Rainbow gum, chocolate Pop Rocks,
two pounds of cookie dough bites, Charleston Chews, and a two pound pail of
Sour Patch Kids.
Candy
was not the only surprise within the baskets, as McCarthy’s basket contained a
Sugar Factory candy bra and matching candy G-String, along with the brand’s
signature coffee mug, lip balm, magnets and rubber duckies.
