The
Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas welcomed Grammy-nominated rapper M.I.A. to the mophie
Stage at Boulevard Pool on Saturday, May 31.
The
emcee treated fans to a hard-hitting performance during which she spat lyrics
to popular tracks such as breakout single "Galang," fan favorite
"Bad Girls" and international hit "Paper Planes." No
stranger to spectacles, M.I.A. kept the crowd on their toes and guessing
throughout her set, at one point inviting more than 50 concert attendees to
join her on stage and dance.
The
Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring
world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled
with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. Perched high above The
Las Vegas Strip, Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an
intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage
and The Strip by night.
