On
Sunday, May 4, snowboarder Jamie Anderson, who won Olympic gold in the
slopestyle event at the 2014 Games in Sochi, Russia, kicked off the 2014 season
grand opening of pool season at The Venetian and The Palazzo at Azure Luxury
Pool.
Anderson
and friends including Winter Olympic Gold Medalist Kaitlyn Farrington, fellow
Sochi 2014 Olympians Kjersti Buaas, Stefi Luxton and Rebecca Torr and fellow
snowboarder Chanelle Sladics, partied it up poolside all afternoon for a day of
fun in the sun.
Fresh
from the White House Correspondent dinner - where Anderson got a special
shoutout from President Barack Obama during his speech, calling her an
"incredibly talented young lady" - Anderson celebrated with her
friends as they danced in their cabana to the beats of DJ Roman Rosati. The
group enjoyed fresh and luscious libations, and cuisine from Wolfgang Puck
including the California Kale and Cabbage Salad, House Made Hummus, Sushi Roll
Platter and more.
"Azure
at The Palazzo is such a beautiful spot to relax and have fun," said
Anderson. "I am just so grateful to be here and celebrate the Olympics
with all of my closest friends."
