McCarran
Medical Clinic and Pharmacy will soon open its doors to locals, airport
employees and tourists. Located near the A/B checkpoint in Terminal 1, the
facility will serve as a full-service pharmacy with licensed medical providers
on staff as well as an extensive selection of TSA-approved toiletries and
sundries. As the ninth largest airport in North America, McCarran sees nearly
42 million passengers annually.
McCarran
Medical Clinic and Pharmacy will cater to the more than 15,000 airport
employees, Las Vegas locals traveling out of and into the airport and domestic
and international visitors. The first-of-its-kind, the facility will provide a
variety of services that cater specifically to travelers, including flight
clearance, vacation supply prescriptions, travel immunizations and urgent care
services.
“We’re
truly looking forward to servicing the medical and health needs of the Las
Vegas community and the tourists who utilize McCarran as a gateway to Las
Vegas,” said David Inman, owner, co-managing member of McCarran Medical Clinic
and Pharmacy.
Comparable
to a full-sized drug store, the facility will service the entire airport
community and give patrons convenient access to prescriptions, travel-approved
products, snacks, magazines, toiletries, over-the-counter medications and more.
“We
look to provide a convenient way for people to access their medications and
receive great care in times of need when it may otherwise be difficult or
stressful to do so,” said Stan Wasserkrug, co-manager of McCarran Medical
Clinic and Pharmacy.
