Vegas! A
city of glittering Neon and high rollers; yet there are some things that will
always stay the same such as buffets and afternoon shows. This particular afternoon
show took place on April 10th, 2014 at The D in downtown Vegas. It was a celebration, a milestone; it was Adam
London’s 410th performance. VIP
guests nibbled on ice crème sandwiches and cones and drank delicious iced
drinks. All in anticipation of Mr. Adam London’s show and you know what he is a
funny guy! From Utah Adam was able to play off that with the multiple wives and
had the audience chuckling.
The show
is a mixture of comedy and magic and is suitable for all ages. He pulls people from the audience and he
reads minds and he is quite handy with a deck of cards. The showroom at The D
is quite intimate and I was approximately 3 feet from the stage. Seamless
magic! Looked just like Harry Potter.
My favorite
act was where he takes a dry erase board and draws a lady from the audience and
then he sings “That Old Black Magic” and the lady on the dry erase board starts
to sing and her mouth moves! Was pretty amazing! Then he erases her and she is
gone! Quite entertaining and Adam is
charming and funny.
