| Pencakes |
In
conjunction with the grand opening of its newest location inside the Rio
All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Hash House A Go Go teamed up with the property’s
entertainers – Penn & Teller, Chippendales and X Rocks - for a pancake
competition where each group designed their own specialty pancake to help raise
money for charity. The pancakes were sold during the month of March and $1 from
each pancake went into a charity fund that would be donated to the winner’s
charity.
Penn
& Teller’s tasty and creative “PENNCAKES & TELLER” was declared the
winner. Their creation, a soft and custardy honey-orange juice pancake with a
yogurt tang, served with warm maple syrup and honey butter, was a favorite
among the four Hash House locations. A donation of $883 will be made by Hash
House to Opportunity Village on behalf of Penn & Teller. The fundraiser
turned out to be a magical opportunity for all!
