Style
gurus can add a spring to their step as the latest ways to change up those
weathered winter locks have arrived. Colorist to the stars and Las Vegas’
leading salon owner, Michael Boychuck, has predicted that natural, undone
hairstyles brimming with texture and volume are bound to add something sexy to
this season’s spring looks.
Boychuck
believes women typically sporting perfectly polished hair should embrace their
natural beauty this season. Whether it be a top knot adorned with floral
accessories or a flattering feminine undone side do - opting for the effortless
look is fun and flirty. The hair expert believes a wispy finish ensures the
look is soft and flattering for any face shape or complexion. Sunny blonde hues
or light caramel tones framing the front of the face are a staple way to
lighten-up any dulled winter color.
“This
winter’s hair was extremely sleek,” Boychuck said. “For the spring season, we
can anticipate laid-back, fuss-free mermaid waves. Relaxed loose waves are
effortlessly gorgeous and when given a tousle can recharge any lackluster
volume do.”
Las
Vegas’ color extraordinaire and owner of COLOR Salon at Caesars Palace and
partner of LifeSpa + Salon at Life Time Fitness in Summerlin says these spring
styles are playful and casually chic with just the right amount of elegance.
Boychuck explains that these flirtatious locks can be achieved by leaving the
straightener behind and choosing to blow-dry the roots rather than going for a
stiff, straight style. Utilize products that are going to add moisture to the
hair without adding too much weight, ensuring a look teeming with volume. Once
dry, wrap strands of hair around a large curling barrel, with hair randomly
placed. Sporting a perfect center part alongside the loose locks eludes a model
off-duty vibe. For those looking to bloom into beauty, the look can be dressed
up by adding a floral headband or clip and sweeping the hair to one side while
leaving wisps of hair to frame the face. This look is fresh and feminine for
spring’s upcoming effortlessly sexy styles.
With
a season full of fun, sun and ample chlorine fast approaching, Boychuck
emphasizes the importance of using color protecting products. The after-effects of sun can wreck hair’s
texture, making it important shield those trestles from damage. The hair master
recommends applying Kérastase products, which can be found at either of his two
salons.
