Sprinkles
Cupcakes kicked off the grand opening of its Las Vegas location at The LINQ
with three days of sweet celebration.
The
fun began on Wednesday at a friends and family event with people lining the
walkway of The LINQ waiting for their first taste of the famous cupcakes,
cookies and ice cream. Sprinkles Founder Candace Nelson hosted a VIP preview on
Thursday night, spoiling guests' dinners with sweets and champagne.
Sprinkles
officially opened its doors to the public on Friday, March 21 at 10 a.m. with a
line of enthusiasts eagerly waiting outside. Longtime Sprinkles fan Holly
Madison stopped by to be the first person to withdraw a cupcake out of the
24-hour Cupcake ATM. Holly chose her favorite flavor, vanilla, before tasting
chocolate ice cream in a red velvet waffle cone which matched her new red
locks. She also took mini cupcakes home to daughter, Rainbow, and doggy
cupcakes for her pooches.
"I'm
really excited about Sprinkles coming to Vegas and The LINQ," said
Madison. "Both visitors to Vegas and locals will love it."
"Bringing
Sprinkles to Las Vegas at last is a dream," said Nelson. "My husband
and I have been working on this for years, looking for a perfect location and
we found it here at The LINQ in the shadow of the High Roller!"
Sprinkles
is open Monday through Wednesday 10 a.m. to midnight and Thursday through
Sunday 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
