If
you’re in Las Vegas for NASCAR Weekend 2014, Boyd Gaming – sponsor of the
NASCAR Nationwide Series Boyd Gaming 300 race – is the place to be! Boyd Gaming properties throughout the Las
Vegas Valley will be hosting special events for the race, including NASCAR
driver appearances, live entertainment and a charity auction benefiting
Speedway Children's Charities. Events include:

Thursday,
March 6
The
Speedway Children’s Charities Drivers Auction will take place on Thursday,
March 6 at Sam’s Town Live! inside Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall (5111
Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, NV 89122). The silent auction, benefiting the Las
Vegas Chapter of the Speedway Children’s Charities, will feature an array of
racing memorabilia and other items. Attendees will have the chance to bid on
the on the ride of a lifetime -- a chance to ride around the speedway with your
favorite NASCAR Sprint Cup Series or NASCAR Nationwide Series hero during the
parade lap for the Kobalt 400 or Boyd Gaming 300.
Clint
Bowyer, Driver of the No. 15 5-Hour Energy Toyota will participate in an
interview session with NASCAR FOX Sports personality Jeff Hammond. Doors open
at 5:00 p.m., and bidding will begin at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Kasey
Kahne, Driver of the No. 5 Pepsi MAX Chevrolet SS for Hendrick Motorsports,
will make a live appearance at The Fremont Hotel and Casino (200 Fremont St.,
Las Vegas, NV 89101). Chris Myers of Fox Sports NASCAR will host the event.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
Carl
Edwards, NASCAR Driver of the No. 99 Fastenal Ford, will make a live appearance
at The Orleans Hotel and Casino (4500 W. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89103).
Jeff Hammond of Fox Sports NASCAR will host the event. The doors open at 7 p.m.
and admission is free.
Nationwide
Series Boyd Gaming 300
Drivers,
start your engines! The first running of the Boyd Gaming 300 (previously known
as the Sam’s Town 300) will take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on
Saturday, March 8. “Cool Abe,” the spokesman of Boyd Gaming’s popular “Penny
Lane,” will serve as the Grand Marshal for the race.

After-Party, featuring the Marshall Tucker Band.

country music artist Rowdy McCarran will also be performing as part of the Boyd
Gaming 300 lineup. McCarran will hit the stage at Roxy’s at Sam’s Town on March
4-6 at 8 p.m. nightly, and March 7 and 8 at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
