Divorce Party Las Vegas made its official Strip debut Thursday, March 13 with a red carpet event to welcome the show to its new sin city home inside Windows Showroom at Bally’s Las Vegas. The ultimate Girls’ Night Out experience was attended by many local celebrities and notables, including Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis  from Chippendales and the Amazing Race, hypnotists Marc Savard and Anthony Cools, Carol-Lyn Liddle from Raiding the Rock Vault, Murray SawChuck, Legends in Concert cast members Cece Correia and Katie Steele, current Mrs. Nevada Lavetta Schneider, legendary comic Steve Rossi, Jarrett & Raja from America’s Got Talent, pianist Danny Wright, vocalist Traci Kesissian and more.

“A version of this production has played in cities across the country to great success but I always knew that it was meant for Las Vegas,” said Mark Schwartz lead producer, “My team and I couldn’t be happier to be in our new home inside Windows Showroom and we can’t wait to introduce the show to a new audience.”

An 80-minute comedic musical event, Divorce Party Las Vegas centers around Linda, still reeling from her divorce, as her friends turn her despair into a weekend of hilarity. Hailed by the L.A. Weekly as a blend of “Sex and the City with Dr. Phil, Oprah and SNL,” the show uses laughs, songs and the occasional shock factor to explore the realities of divorce, long term relationships and moving on. A thoroughly enjoyable show however there were a few cringe-worthy moments such as women and ummm hair down south. Also the ode to vibrators was a little long BUT a great way to take iconic songs and parody them, The shining example...the finale is a parody of "Diamonds Are A Girls's Best Friend"  which brought the house down and earned a standing ovation.

“You don’t have to have gone through a divorce to enjoy this show,” said Dr. Amy Botwinick co-author and producer, “The storyline is incredibly funny, heartfelt and at times a little risqué but most importantly everyone in the audience can relate.”

Tickets to Divorce Party Las Vegas are $49/$65 plus taxes and fees.  Platinum VIP tickets are offered for guests looking to enhance their experience for $80 and include a round of specialty drinks, premier seating and a meet & greet with the cast. Tickets are available by visiting Divorcepartylasvegas.com or by calling the box office at 855-234-7469/702-777-2782. Performances scheduled Saturday – Thursday at 8 p.m.
