Brooklyn Bowl New York Opens Friday March 14th!

Brooklyn Bowl New York made their mark by booking some of the biggest and best acts on the planet including Kanye West, Paul Simon, Snoop Dogg, Bob Weir, The Roots, The Neville Brothers, Guns N’Roses, Warren Haynes, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Adele, Galactic, and Portugal among others. Las Vegas’ March programming takes the lead from the original Brooklyn Bowl by offering a robust schedule of live concert and performance events as well as afterhours entertainment:

The Roots - Friday, March 14
The Roots, a Grammy Award-winning hip hop/neo-soul band and house band for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” have been described by About.com as “hip hop’s first legitimate band” (show: 11:30 p.m., admission: $35-$40 )

Elvis Costello and The Roots - Saturday, March 15
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award winner Elvis Costello will be joined by Grammy Award winning hip hop band The Roots. (show: 9 p.m., admission: $69.50. 2 night pass: $139.00) Following that performance, The Roots’ leader Questlove will DJ a “Bowl Train” set, the iconic party he has hosted at Brooklyn Bowl New York every Thursday since the venue opened in 2009.

Elvis Costello and The Roots - Sunday, March 16
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award winner Elvis Costello will be joined by Grammy Award winning hip hop band The Roots. (show: 8 p.m. , admission: $69.50 )

Brett Dennen – Wednesday, March 19
Folk/pop singer and songwriter Brett Dennen will appear with Irish musician Foy Vance. (show: 8 p.m., admission: $15 - $20 )

Cake - Thursday, March 20, Friday, March 21 & Saturday, March 22
Alternative rock band Cake, whose latest album has been described by the New York Times as "post-new wave with smart lyrics," comes to Brooklyn Bowl for 3 nights.  (show: 6 p.m., admission: $36.50 - $40.  3-night pass: $109.50)

Karl Denson - Thursday, March 20, Friday, March 21 & Saturday, March 22
Funk and jazz saxophonist, flutist and vocalist Karl Denson, formerly of Lenny Kravitz’s band, brings his band Tiny Universe to Brooklyn Bowl for 3 late-night performance sets.  (shows: 11:59 p.m., admission: $15 - $20. )

Local Natives - Sunday, March 23
Indie rock band Local Natives brings their indie sound to the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas stage. (show: 8 p.m., admission: $20 - $25 )

Galactic - Wednesday, March 26, Thursday, March 27, Friday, March 28 & Saturday, March 29
New Orleans based funk and jazz jam band Galactic. (shows: 11:30 p.m., admission: $25  )
Lettuce- Saturday, March 29 & Sunday, March 30
The Brooklyn-based, seven-piece funk outfit, will perform over two nights.  (shows: 7 p.m., admission: $20. 2 night pass: $40)

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas will be the brand’s third location. The original location opened in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn in 2009 in the former Hecla Iron Works building (built in 1882) and was the first L.E.E.D. certified bowling alley in the world.
